2000 — Art Direction / Brochure Design


This brochure for the UK supermarket Asda’s fashion range, had a simple idea behind it, to highlight the usually mutually exclusive concepts of aspiration and affordability. We succinctly achieved this by overlaying the fashion photography with till receipts to create the illusion of three-dimensions. The juxtaposition of gold foiled text highlighted the clothes’ cheap prices.
