WIP Open Studios

2024 — Graphic Design

WIP:sthlm is Stockholm’s biggest studio cooperative, with 70 studios over two floors containing artists, designers, architects, photographers, and more, including us. Every year we organise an open studios day so friends and the general public can come and see what we do — it’s a fun and interesting day, especially as we get to see what our neighbours have been making, behind closed doors.

This year the event happened to coincide with the Venice Biennale, and the social media feeds were full of films and images of canals, spritzes and spectacular art installations. As a tongue in cheek retort, we invented our own bienalle for Västberga, the distinctly unglamorous industrial area where our studios (along with many others) are located.
